Our visitation policy allows us to provide a safe environment, high-quality care, and positive experiences when and where our patients need us. 

 

Additional information for visitors

  • Visiting hours- General hospital visiting hours are from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., although visiting hours may vary throughout the hospital. The Care Team and/or Security may need to modify visiting hours to ensure full care of each patient. Please call the individual nursing units for specific information. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Parking, drop-off, and shuttle instructions: Accommodations and shuttle information and parking map
  • Visitors showing signs or symptoms of infection or illness should not visit. Symptoms of illness could include cough, fever, runny nose, rash, vomiting, diarrhea, or sore throat.
  • Telephone calls- To reach a patient at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, dial 512-324-1000 and the operator will connect you with the patient. If you know the room number, you can dial it directly. The three-digit room number makes up the last three numbers of the phone number preceded by 3241. For example, to call room #100, simply dial 324-1100.
