A multispecialty team dedicated to your child’s care
Your child is cared for by a multidisciplinary team that may include specialists from neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, radiation oncology, and neuro-radiology. Your child may also be cared for by specialists in endocrinology, neuro-opthamology/opthamology, neurology, genetics, psychiatry and psychology.
Your family is supported by a nurse coordinator, who serves as an advocate for your child by guiding you through treatment and recovery. Your nurse coordinator helps communicate between your doctors, identifies barriers to treatment, and ensures your child receives timely and appropriate care throughout their treatment journey.
Your family is also connected to social workers, dietitians and child life specialists, as needed.
