Infusion therapy customized for your care plan
Hematology and medical oncology treatments are provided in our comfortable 21-chair infusion center at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. Intravenous (IV) treatments may include blood transfusions, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, hydration, immunotherapy, and IV management of a blood disorder such as anemia. Certain prescription therapies can be administered by infusion (antibiotics, antifungals and antivirals).
Via Christi St. Francis Ambulatory Infusion Center is a 21-chair outpatient clinic that provides intravenous (IV) therapy and injections from a team of specialty trained nurses and pharmacists. Chemotherapy and many other medications and fluids can be delivered by IV at our infusion centers, using a portable infusion pump.

Outpatient infusion therapy can be a comfortable and convenient alternative to hospital treatments. The infusion center provides:
- Central venous access device for treatment (PICC lines, other central lines and imported ports)
- Chemotherapy
- IV medication administration and injections (antibiotics/antivirals, immunoglobulin therapy, migraine therapy, and more)
- Blood and platelet transfusions
- Hydration
- Therapeutic phlebotomy
- Disease-specific specialty drug therapy
