Ascension Seton Hays is a place of healing, made just for patients and families. To help make your hospital stay more comfortable for you and your family, we provide a range of amenities, including:

Chapel and spiritual care

Chaplains are available to provide spiritual care for patients and families. The chapel is open 24/7. Families are welcome to use this room for prayer, meditation or quiet time.

Dining

The cafeteria is open seven days a week. Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Guest trays

A guest tray may be ordered through the Food and Nutrition Department by dialing 54317 and an associate will assist you in making your selection. The cost of each tray is $7.50 and must be paid by credit card at the time of the order. Guest trays will be delivered to the patient's room within 45 minutes of placing order.

Telephone calls

To reach a patient at Ascension Seton Hays, dial 512-504-5000 to reach the operator, who will connect you with the patient. If you know the room number, you can dial it directly. The three-digit room number makes up the last three numbers of the phone number preceded by 5045. For example, to call room #100, simply dial 504-5100. Courtesy and pay phones are located throughout the hospital for your convenience.
