Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West is a place of healing, made just for patients and families. To help make your hospital stay more comfortable for you and your family, we provide a range of amenities, including: 

Chapel and spiritual care

Chaplains are available to provide spiritual care for patients and families. The chapel is open 24/7. Families are welcome to use this room for prayer, meditation or quiet time. We offer support for a wide variety of spiritual, cultural, and religious needs including the sacramental needs of various traditions.

Catholic Ministries

Catholic Mass is celebrated Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m., and Sunday at 10 a.m. Tune in to channel 39 at these times if you are unable to leave your room. Catholic sacramental ministry is available 24/7 through the PBX operator at 615-222-2111. Eucharistic ministry is provided on a daily basis. Priestly visitation is available for emergencies and upon request.

We also can connect you with programs in the community that provide accommodations for reduced prices. Ask your care team or social worker for more information.

Seton Lodge/The Inn at Saint Thomas: This 23-room facility is located inside Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West, for patients traveling from outside Davidson County who are stable but awaiting surgery or treatment, or need additional diagnostic testing. Patients will be given first priority when rooms become available. Our office is located on the 1st floor behind the Sky Bridge desk, leading to the Seton Garage. Office Hours: Sunday through Thursday: 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday/Saturday: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For information or reservations, please call 615-222-3872. Check-in time is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m, and check-out time is 11 a.m. To reach a guest, call: 615-222-3 + the last three digits of room number.
