Visitor information at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital

Our visitor policy allows us to provide a safe environment, high-quality care, and positive experiences when and where our patients need us.

  • To help ensure a positive experience for all, each patient has designated visiting hours; please ask the person you're visiting for their timeframe
  • Children under 18 may visit with a doctor's order (except for adolescent and eating disorder units)
  • Visitors must secure personal belongings prior to entry within lockers on first floor
  • No outside food or drink permitted
  • During times of higher community-acquired illnesses, such as COVID-19 or influenza, all visitors must wear a medical-grade mask that fully covers mouth and nose throughout their visit. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you.
  • Visitors may not enter the facility if they:
    • Are currently experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (including fever, cough and nausea)
    • Had a positive COVID-19 test in the last 10 days
    • Have had close contact with someone positive for COVID-19 in the last 5 days
  • If the patient you are visiting is in isolation, visiting may be restricted. The care team may approve limited visits with administrative approval.
  • Visiting may be restricted during respiratory illness outbreaks

Patients and visitors should park in the lot at the southwest corner of Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital.
