Urogynecology and pelvic health care
As women, our bodies change as we age, and so do our healthcare needs. Childbirth and menopause can lead to changes in your pelvic floor. These changes can result in vaginal, bladder or pelvic health problems. At Ascension St. John, our care team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders in women.
Your OB-GYN can diagnose and treat many pelvic health conditions. In some cases, a referral to a urogynecologist may be recommended.

Mammograms and breast screenings
It’s important for women to get a mammogram every year, beginning at age 40. At Ascension St. John, we offer many types of mammograms, including 3D mammography, the most advanced breast screening technology.
By getting to know you and your health history, we can recommend the breast screening that’s right for you. Talk with your doctor anytime you have concerns between screenings.
-
Primary care
Staying well starts with choosing a doctor who listens to understand you. Your primary care doctor provides yearly wellness exams, care when you have a minor illness, vaccinations, mental health care, and helps manage chronic conditions. Talk with your doctor about everyday healthcare questions, emotional health needs and concerns about symptoms.
If you have a health condition that needs more advanced care, your primary care doctor will connect you to the right specialist.
