William S. Sorrells, MD, is an independent heart surgeon at Ascension St. Vincent's in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Sorrells currently treats conditions including aortoiliac aneurysm and occlusive disease, carotid artery disease, dialysis access, peripheral arterial disease, and venous insufficiency. He has extensive training in both open and endovascular techniques. Originally from Georgia, Dr. Sorrells completed his medical education at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He then completed his general surgery residency at Mayo Clinic, followed by his vascular surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
