About Sameer Damle, MD

He subsequently completed an HPB fellowship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA. As a child, Dr. Damle was fascinated by all aspects of science especially astronomy and biology. His exposure to medicine came early as he would often accompany his father, a Cardiothoracic surgeon, on weekend rounds. He saw firsthand how patients can be healed with a successful operation and observed the importance of diligent and compassionate post-operative care. Since medical school, he has worked in academic, urban community, and rural settings and enjoys caring for patients during all stages of their illness.
