Khaled M. Nazzal, MD, is a board-certified, experienced sleep medicine specialist at Ascension St. Vincent in Fishers and Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Nazzal is originally from Palestine. In 1999, he graduated from Hacettepe, a prestigious medical school in Turkey. He migrated to the USA in 2002 to complete an internal medicine residency at the University of Toledo. In 2005, he moved to Chicago to complete a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Illinois.

After fellowship, he worked in private practice in Decatur, Illinois for five years. He moved to Indiana in 2013, and has been part of Ascension Medical group since then. He works as a pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine specialist in ICU and at an outpatient clinic as a sleep and lung doctor. Dr. Nazzal is the medical director of Ascension North Region Sleep Labs. He also educates internal medicine residents, and pulmonary, critical care fellows.

Dr. Nazzal is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, and American Thoracic Society.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Nazzal enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons and a daughter. He is an avid reader and devoted educator. Dr. Nazzal also enjoys exercising, baking, and watching football.
