Joseph W. Tortorich, DO, is a board-certified, experienced otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat doctor) at Ascension St. Vincent in Carmel and Brownsburg, Indiana near Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Tortorich diagnoses and treats ear, nose and throat (ENT) conditions. He treats a full range of ear, nose, and throat problems in both adults and children including: allergies, head and neck cancer, hearing loss, sinus and throat pain, hoarseness, difficulty swallowing, enlarged lymph nodes, and disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands. Dr. Tortorich received his bachelor's degree at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a traditional rotating internship in Chicago, Illinois, then an internship and residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Following his residency, Dr. Tortorich moved to Indianapolis to complete a fellowship with St. Vincent Hospital and Center for Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy (CENTA) in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction.

Dr. Tortorich is board-certified by the Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has a special interest in head and neck cancer reconstructive surgery. Additionally, he works closely with Neurosurgery for treatment of pituitary tumors and anterior skull base lesions.
