Dr. Romero specializes in sports medicine, and treats competitive athletes and active youth and adults of all ages who enjoy exercise and recreational activities. Our sports medicine doctors are part of a national team of specialists, sharing best practices and offering evaluation and treatment of the most complex conditions. She is also a team doctor for youth and adult sports teams and organizations, delivering sports medicine event coverage at games and competitions. Dr. Romero works with athletic trainers and physical therapists to provide care for your physical and emotional health, so you can return to the activities you enjoy.

Dr. Romero is the program director for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship program and faculty of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas.
