Dr. Parkhill graduated cum laude with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Parkhill is passionate about community service. In college, she volunteered with Girls on the Run, a program to empower pre-teen girls, and an Arts in Medicine program for patients with Parkinson’s disease. She also studied abroad in South Africa, serving in rural townships painting schools, updating a preschool playground, and installing a roof on an open-air classroom.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Parkhill is interested in sailing, skiing and playing the violin.
