About Roosevelt Bryant, III, MD
Roosevelt Bryant III, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric and congenital heart surgeon at Peyton Manning Children’s in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Bryant is the Chief of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery as well as a faculty member in cardiovascular surgery with the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s and a clinical professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His practice includes newborns, older children and adults with congenital heart disease. He starts by listening to understand your child and your health concerns. Then, we work with you to create a surgical care plan that's right for your child.
Dr. Bryant’s clinical interests include all aspects of complex congenital heart disease including patients with end stage heart failure. In addition to congenital heart defects, he has extensive experience in the surgical treatment of end stage heart failure for congenital heart disease and other forms of heart failure in children.
Dr. Bryant collaborates with a team of cardiologists and other specialists to provide the comprehensive care your child needs. He is a member of the Congenital Heart Surgeon’s Society, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation and the World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Bryant enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children and their dog, Molly.
