Terry A. Neill, Jr., MD, is a neurologist and vascular neurologist at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, FL. Dr. Neill is board-certified in neurology, vascular neurology and neurocritical care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training in neurology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Neill also completed two years of fellowship training in stroke and neurocritical care at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Neill serves as medical director of the Ascension Sacred Heart Comprehensive Stroke Center with expertise in the diagnoses, treatment and prevention of stroke. He also serves as the medical director of neurocritical care at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. Dr. Neill responds to trauma cases involving head and spinal injury, as well as treating patients with emergent neurological issues. He is one of the few physicians in the Southeast with this type of training. Dr. Neill has special interest in neurocritical care including stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage and traumatic brain injury.
