Karen M. Kim, M. D. is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with the Institute for Cardiovascular Health, a clinical collaboration between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin, the clinical practice of Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin in Round Rock and Austin, Texas. Dr. Kim has a special interest in many aspects of aortic health and repair such as thoracic aortic disease, aortic dissection, and complex aortic valve and root repair. She also takes interest in transcatheter treatment of structural heart disease.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Kim enjoys the outdoors and watching college football.
