Dr. Paik is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Paik has published several articles in the field of facial plastic surgery and head and neck surgery. He has presented his research at national meetings and local organizations.

Dr. Paik is involved in humanitarian work and has traveled to Kijabe, Kenya to perform cleft lip and palate surgery.
