Mitchell G. Eichhorn, MD, is a board-certified, experienced plastic and cosmetic surgeon at Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas. Dr. Eichhorn performs surgery and minimally invasive procedures for cosmetic treatments to reshape the body, tighten sagging skin and remove wrinkles and more.

Since moving to Waco, TX in 2018, Dr. Eichhorn has been serving the Waco community and surrounding areas by providing specialized care in complex hand surgery, reconstructive surgery and microsurgery. His practice also encompasses cosmetic and aesthetic surgery of the breast and body as well as facial cosmetic surgery. As part of the trauma team, Dr. Eichhorn collaborates with a multispecialty team to provide reconstruction surgery for traumatic injuries.

Dr. Eichhorn is a native Texan and a first generation college graduate. He obtained his B.S. from Texas Tech University and graduated with honors. He then continued his education at Texas Tech University School of Medicine where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and graduated with honors. Dr. Eichhorn then completed a rigorous six year integrated plastic surgery residency program through Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, MI. Following plastic surgery residency, Dr. Eichhorn completed a one year fellowship specializing in hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Eichhorn is board-certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgeons (ABPS).

When not caring for patients, Dr. Eichhorn enjoys fly fishing, raising chickens, and spending time with his wife and their daughters.
