Bettina C. Thomas, NP, is a cardiac nurse practitioner at Ascension St. Vincent in Carmel, Crawfordsville and Indianapolis, Indiana. She is part of a multispecialty cardiology care team that diagnoses and treats heart and vascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation and heart valve disease. As an NP, Bettina conducts medical heart history evaluations, assists with procedures, and explains lab tests, imaging tests and EKG results.

Bettina collaborates with your cardiologist to answer your questions and provide the comprehensive cardiovascular care you need. She also prescribes medication and delivers preventive and non-surgical care such as pacemaker monitoring, heart screenings and medication management for cholesterol and hypertension. As a provider, she is trained to evaluate chest pain and other heart disease symptoms. She is highly trained in preventive heart care, tests and procedures.

Bettina is a member of the National Lipid Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Cardiology, and Coalition of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Indiana.
