Jennifer S. Summers, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Ascension Medical Group Seton Women's Health in Austin, Texas. With a deep passion for women's health, Dr. Summers is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to women at every stage of life.

A proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Summers earned her B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences with cum laude honors. Before pursuing medicine, she worked as a certified child life specialist, supporting the emotional well-being of hospitalized children. This experience sparked Dr. Summer's desire for a more dynamic role in healthcare, one that would allow her to connect more deeply and holistically with patients with the realization that no two patients are the same.

Dr. Summers went on to earn her medical degree from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency in OB-GYN at UT Southwestern, where she served as chief resident and received multiple honors for clinical excellence and leadership.

Further advancing her surgical expertise, Dr. Summers completed a fellowship in advanced pelvic and robotic surgery, gaining specialized experience in minimally invasive procedures using the daVinci robotic system.

In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a clinical assistant professor at The University of Texas Dell Medical School.

Recognized for her exceptional care, Dr. Summers has been named a Rising Star and has been selected as a Texas Super Doctor by Texas Monthly for six consecutive years.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Summers and her husband, Zach, are proud to call Austin home, where they enjoy spending time outdoors with their two sons and their beloved dog.
