Richard L. Lebow, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with Howell Allen Clinic with Ascension Saint Thomas in Gallatin, Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, and Nashville, Tennessee. Originally, from Houston, Dr. Lebow attended college and medical school at the University of Texas, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. He moved to Nashville in 2004 to attend residency in neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt, he received specialized fellowship training in complex spinal deformity and minimally invasive spinal surgery. However, his biggest accomplishment was getting married. He and his wife are parents to two beautiful daughters. Dr. Lebow is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He has expertise in complex spinal deformity correction, as well as in surgery for spinal cord and brain tumors.
