About Jeffery Blake Allen, PhD
Jeffery B. Allen, PhD, HSPP, MA, is a clinical neuropsychologist at Ascension St. Vincent - Kokomo Neurology in Kokomo, Indiana. Dr. Allen evaluates how different areas of your brain are working and how a brain disorder can affect your mood, personality, ability to concentrate, memory, language skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Dr. Allen has a clinical interest in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other brain disorders. Dr. Allen had fellowship training in clinical neuropsychology at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan/Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He holds the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) certification in clinical neuropsychology.
Dr. Allen has completed research studies in the areas of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, brain functions, and traumatic brain injury and authored the book General Practitioner’s Guide to Neuropsychological Assessment.
Dr. Allen is a member of the American Psychological Association, has served as a grant reviewer for the Alzheimer’s Association and Veterans Administration, and received numerous distinguished faculty awards while working in higher education.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Allen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and cooking.
