About Karen Cecilia Keough, MD
Dr. Karen Keough earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, where she also served as Chief of Residents. She then pursued a fellowship in Child Neurology at Duke University. After three years in the Air Force as a Child Neurologist, she completed an additional fellowship in EEG and epilepsy at Baylor University School of Medicine. Dr. Keough founded and functions as director of the Comprehensive Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic in Austin. Her primary clinical focus is refractory epilepsy, including medical, dietary, technological and surgical therapies. She also continues to participate in the general child neurology hospital consult service.
