Mark A. Noffsinger, MD, is a board-certified, experienced orthopedic surgeon at Ascension Michigan in Allegan, MI. Dr. Noffsinger attended Wabash College on a football scholarship, where he received the Dean Stephens award for outstanding student athlete, and graduated with high honors. He attended Indiana University Medical School, prior to his Orthopedic residency with Michigan State University through Southwest Health Education Center here in Kalamazoo.

Dr. Noffsinger is the senior member of Borgess Orthopedics, (previously Kalamazoo Orthopedic Clinic), where he has practiced Orthopedic surgery since 1987. He is Clinical Associate Professor at Homer Stryker-Western Michigan University School of Medicine, where he enjoys teaching both Orthopedic Surgery Residents and Medical Students.

Dr. Noffsinger has served in numerous administrative positions at both Borgess and Bronson Hospitals, including the Borgess Board of Trustees. He continues to serve as Surgical Dyad Leader for Ascension Borgess Healthcare.

Dr. Noffsinger has been involved in medical missions in Kenya, Uganda, and Honduras.

Dr. Noffsinger has been active in the community as an assistant varsity football coach for Mattawan High School, Mattawan Board of Education member, Trustee of New Life Church, and numerous other volunteer positions.

Dr. Noffsinger has published and presented internationally orthopedic research, and continues to serve as an Orthopedic consultant for Stryker, Zimmer Biomet, and Advanced Orthopedic Solutions.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Noffsinger and his wife enjoys spending time with their family -- all living in Mattawan, Michigan. He continues to enjoy sports, hunting, boating, and caring for patients through his subspecialty of adult reconstruction, focusing mainly on shoulder and knee.
