Dr. Farokhi is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine (MIS) surgery and robotic-assisted procedures. Based at Ascension Sacred Heart and Summit Surgery Center in Pensacola, Florida, Dr. Farokhi utilizes advanced techniques to address spine injuries, spinal conditions, and brain tumors. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care, from initial consultation through surgery and recovery, incorporating both surgical and non-surgical approaches to support optimal outcomes.

Dr. Farokhi completed his high school education at Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville, South Carolina, where he earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma with a focus in biology. He pursued undergraduate studies at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, obtaining a bachelor's degree in chemistry with a minor in Spanish. Dr. Farokhi then earned his Medical Doctorate from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He completed a seven-year neurosurgery residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he developed a strong interest in spine surgery. Following residency, he undertook a Spine Neurosurgery Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Memphis, training under the esteemed neurosurgeon Dr. Kevin T. Foley.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Farokhi enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, exercising, and playing the guitar. He has a keen interest in fine pocket knives and is passionate about automobiles.
