Kelly J. Nast, MD, is a board-certified, experienced urologist with sub-specialty certification in pediatric urology at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. Dr. Nast specializes in diagnosing and treating urinary tract and genital conditions in infants and children. She treats many conditions, including congenital malformations, genitalia conditions, urinary frequency, bed wetting, urinary tract infections, renal diseases and other complex conditions. Dr. Nast starts by listening to understand your child and their symptoms. Then, she works with you to create a personalized care plan. Dr. Nast has the expertise to deliver advanced treatments, including surgical care.

Our multispecialty team approach to care means that if your child's condition is more complex, Dr. Nast works with a team of pediatric specialists at Ascension Seton to provide comprehensive care for your child.

Dr. Nast completed her training at the University of California San Diego's Rady Children's Hospital. Prior to that, she completed her internship in general surgery and urology residency at Georgetown University in Washington, D. C.   Dr. Nast earned her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.  

Dr. Nast has led numerous medical research studies, some of which include patient safety, radiation safety, patient quality of life, and cost-cutting in operating rooms.
