Jeffrey D. Willers, MD, is a board-certified, independent orthopedic surgeon at Ascension Saint Thomas in Nashville, Tennessee. A Georgia native, Dr. Willers completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Emory University before earning his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He then pursued orthopedic surgery training at Vanderbilt University, where he completed both his internship and residency. To further specialize in foot and ankle procedures, Dr. Willers completed a fellowship at the OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute in Charlotte—one of the nation’s premier training centers in this subspecialty.

Dr. Willers is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He currently serves as a team physician for Lipscomb University and previously served as a team doctor for a professional football organization from 2005 to 2018.
