Asim S. Ahmed, DO, is an electrophysiologist and cardiologist with Ascension Sacred Heart at Pensacola, Fl. Dr. Ahmed is board-certified in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He provides personalized, comprehensive care to adults with heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Ahmed has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation and flutter and ventricular tachycardia. During his residency and cardiology fellowship, he served as both chief resident and chief fellow and was named resident and fellow of the year for two sequential years. He then completed advanced training in cardiac electrophysiology, where his passion for medical education led to multiple publications and presentations.
