Ryan P. Hawks, MD, is a general surgeon at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, FL. He provides specialized, comprehensive care to patients with a range of surgical needs, including trauma, adult critical care, and general surgery services. Dr. Hawks came to Pensacola from practicing trauma and acute care surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital and Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. He previously led the Special Operations Surgical Team (SOST) at Hurlburt Field and practiced general surgery at EglinAir Force Base. Dr. Hawks is a colonel in the U. S. Air Force ReserveCommand and a veteran of 10 deployments in support of U. S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Special Operations Forces on four continents.
