Jeffrey T. Gibbs, MD, is a triple board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in reconstructive plastic surgery and critical care medicine specialist at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Gibbs earned his undergraduate degree from Wilkes University and his medical degree from Drexel University. From there he completed his general surgery training at Loyola University in Chicago and he proceeded to Indiana University to complete his plastic surgery residency and burn fellowship. Finally, he completed his surgical critical care fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University.

Prior to joining Ascension, Dr. Gibbs practiced in a multi-disciplined plastic surgery practice and was the assistant medical director of the Mississippi State Burn Center.

Dr. Gibbs is drawn to the field of burn care because of its unique challenges.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Gibbs enjoys spending time with his family. He is excited to be back in Indiana and is looking forward to having four seasons again.
