Jeffrey T. Gibbs, MD, is a plastic and reconstructive surgery and critical care medicine specialist at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Jeffrey Gibbs is a triple-board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Board of Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Gibbs earned his undergraduate degree from Wilkes University and his medical degree from Drexel University. From there he completed his general surgery training at Loyola University in Chicago and he proceeded to Indiana University to complete his Plastic Surgery residency and burn fellowship. Finally, he completed his surgical critical care fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Gibbs is drawn to the field of Burn Care because of its unique challenges. Prior to joining Ascension Healthcare, Dr. Gibbs practiced in a multi-disciplined plastic surgery practice and was the Assistant Medical Director of the Mississippi State Burn Center. Married with five young children, he enjoys spending time with his family when not at work. Dr. Gibbs is looking forward to having four seasons again and is excited to be back in Indiana.
