Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Dr. Carr was excited to return home and join the community. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering. She made the mountains of East Tennessee home for four more years to earn her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University-Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. She then went on to complete both her Internal Medicine residency and combined Pulmonary-Critical Care fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Dr. Carr is board-certified in internal and pulmonary medicine.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Carr enjoys baking, relaxing outdoors, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
