Andrew M. Fouts, MD, is an interventional cardiologist and general cardiologist at Ascension St. Vincent in Carmel and Lebanon, Indiana. Dr. Fouts takes the time to listen to understand you and your health to deliver heart and vascular care that's right for you. He specializes in diagnosing all types of cardiovascular disease and in heart catheterization and minimally invasive heart care. He performs procedures to restore blood flow to the heart and treat valvular heart disease. He provides preventive cardiology care to manage high blood pressure and cholesterol, heart attack and stroke risk factors, AFib and other heart rhythm disorders, and congestive heart failure. Dr. Fouts works with you to create a personalized care plan for your needs. Our cardiovascular specialists are part of an integrated, national network of heart care, sharing best practices and provide evaluation and treatment of the most complex heart conditions.

He has a special interest in interventional cardiology, and diagnosing and treating coronary artery disease and aortic valve disease. He is part of our cardiac surgery care team, specializing in minimally invasive heart and vascular surgery, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement. He performs interventional cardiology procedures to help treat chest pain and heart attacks, including opening clogged coronary arteries with angioplasty and stent procedures. Dr. Fouts is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology. When not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and traveling.
Dr. Fouts is an active participant in a wide variety of research studies including drug and medical device trials. He is a faculty member in the Ascension St. Vincent Fellowship program, where he works training the next generation of cardiologists.
