Alice Diane Friedman, MDGastroenterology - Digestive Health in Austin, TX

Dr. Friedman is a well experienced gastroenterologist, practicing since 1986. She is a native Houstonian who relocated to the Austin area in 2001. Having recieved both a BS and MD from Texas A&M, she pursued residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia Affiliated Programs, Gastroenterology at the University of Maryland (Baltimore), and MS (MPH) at Wright State Uiversity. Board Certification is with both the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She has been named a Fellow by both the American Colleges of Physicians and Gastroenterology, and served on faculty in the department of gastroenterology at the University of Arkansas. Interests include colon cancer prevention/screening, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac sprue, and functional bowel diseases.
