Stephen J. Sierra, MD, is a board-certified, experienced orthopedic surgeon with Ascension Medical Group in Waco, Texas. A native Texan, Dr. Sierra is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with 10 years of post-graduate medical training under some of the top surgeons in the world. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of shoulder pain and referred elbow and arm pain. As an experienced surgeon, Dr. Sierra provides care for frozen shoulder and rotator cuff conditions that affect your range of motion. Our care team provides advanced care options to manage pain before surgery and during your recovery, including orthopedic rehabilitation.

Dr. Sierra has a special interest in sports injuries, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, knee and shoulder replacement, and repairing fractures. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Shoulder/Elbow/Knee pathology, but also has experience in Trauma and General Orthopedics.
