About Susan Kathleen Dubois, MD
Dr. Susan Dubois joined the faculty of the Internal Medicine department, Endocrinology Section, of the Austin Medical Education Programs in October 2001 after a period of private practice Endocrinology in Austin. Dr. Dubois attended Baylor University in Waco where she earned her undergraduate degree in 1984. She completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, TX, and did her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX, where she also served as Chief Resident in the department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Dubois finished her Fellowship in Endocrinology & Metabolism with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1996. She then accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Medicine, Section of Endocrinology and Metabolism, with West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Dubois will be seeing patients in the Faculty Clinic, Austin Medical Academic Associates, and also will be caring for hospitalized patients at Brackenridge Hospital. Dr. Dubois is board certified in Internal Medicine and is also board certified in Endrocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
