About Ahmad Waqas Ahad, MD
Ahmad W. Ahad, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon at Ascension Saint Agnes in Columbia, MD, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ahad specializes in minimally invasive surgery and is trained in robotic-assisted surgery. He has a special interest in robotic hernia surgery and complex abdominal hernia repair. Dr. Ahad was born in Saudi Arabia and raised in Pakistan and the United Kingdom before returning to Pakistan for medical school.
