Dr. Hoeprich earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine at the Detroit Medical Center. During residency, Dr. Hoeprich also completed a Master's degree in Public Policy at the University of Michigan, reflecting a strong interest in health policy, systems-based practice, and physician leadership.
Following residency, Dr. Hoeprich pursued advanced fellowship training in functional neurosurgery at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital at McGill University, where he specialized in the surgical treatment of epilepsy.
