Howell Ross Fishel, MDGeneral Surgery in Panama City, FL

Howell Fishel, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with Emerald Bay Surgical Associates. A native of Panama City, FL, Dr. Fishel attended Bay High School and received his mechanical engineering degree at Auburn University. He finished medical school at Florida State University and completed general surgery residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, where he served as administrative chief resident. With extensive training in robotic surgery, Dr. Fishel is passionate about minimally invasive techniques and enhancing post-surgical pathways for easier patient recovery. He has broad experience in a range of surgeries, including hernia repair and procedures of the breast, thyroid, gallbladder, colon, and abdomen. Dr. Fishel and his wife have one child. They enjoy water sports, outdoor activities and travel.
