He received his medical degree and completed his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He went on to complete a pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, TX. Following fellowship, he was an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Abbott is board certified in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.
