D. Byron Holt, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist with The Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease in patients of all ages ranging from developing babies (fetus), newborns and children to adults, with a focus on interventional catheterization of children and adults with congenital heart disease. Dr. Holt cares for those with many different heart conditions, including: arrhythmia and other irregular heartbeats, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, heart murmur, hyperlipidemia, long QT syndrome, and others.

Dr. Holt is Chief of Pediatric Cardiology for Dell Children's Medical Center, and an Associate Professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Cardiology, and The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

Dr. Holt was born on a U. S. naval base at Subic Bay, Philippines, and has been living in Texas since early childhood. Dr. Holt lives in Austin with his wife and two daughters.
