Debra L. Mclean, NP, is a cardiac nurse practitioner at Ascension St. Vincent in Avon, Indiana. She is part of a multispecialty cardiology care team that diagnoses and treats heart and vascular conditions. She works alongside our electrophysiology doctors and takes care of patients with atrial fibrillation (Afib), pacemakers, defibrillators and other heart rhythm disorders. Debra Mclean collaborates with your cardiologist to answer your questions and provide the comprehensive cardiovascular care you need.

She is trained to evaluate chest pain and other heart disease symptoms. She is highly trained in preventive heart care, tests and procedures. Debra became interested in the care of cardiology patients quite early in her career as a nurse with her first job on a cardiac telemetry unit. She advanced to more intensive cardiac care and then became interested in electrophysiology, especially, working in the device clinic with pacemaker and defibrillator patients. When not caring for patients, she enjoys: traveling, camping and time with family.
