Marcy J. Oppenheimer, MD, is a board-certified, independent family medicine doctor at Ascension Providence in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Oppenheimer has practiced family medicine at Providence for over a decade and serves as the Medical Director of the Providence Diabetes Education and Nutrition Center. She is a clinical professor of medicine at both Georgetown and George Washington schools of medicine and in the past has taught nutrition at the college level.

Prior to her medical career, Dr. Oppenheimer served in the Clinton administration as a special assistant at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
