Ann K. Schmit, FNP-BC, is a cardiac nurse practitioner at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana. She takes the time to listen to understand you and your health to deliver heart and vascular care that's right for you. She is part of our congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension cardiology care team. As an NP, she conducts medical heart history evaluations, assists with procedures, and explains lab tests, imaging tests and EKG results.

Ann is trained to evaluate chest pain and other heart disease symptoms. She is highly trained in preventive heart care, tests and procedures. When not caring for patients, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
