A local woman found healing through compassionate heart care

In April 2024, Glenda began experiencing what felt like worsening heartburn — but soon, it escalated into a frightening sensation, as though her heart was racing out of her chest. Alarmed, her husband drove her to their local hospital in Opp, Alabama. Recognizing the seriousness of her condition, the medical team quickly transferred her to Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola for advanced cardiac care.

Today, Glenda is back to doing what she loves: caring for her family, enjoying quiet moments sewing, and embracing her role as a proud great-grandmother.
